CCPAS’s stated objective is to safeguard both children and vulnerable adults throughout the UK. One way in which we achieve that is by providing, free of charge whenever possible, information which will better enable places of worship, organisations and individuals to protect the vulnerable in their care. This information is made available in a number of different formats. These include: Our magazine has a print run of 17,000 copies. It is the main way CCPAS connects with its supporters and members. It is designed to enable readers to grasp, quickly and succinctly, the key safeguarding agendas and factors in an attractive, easy to read format. These are a series of 20 introductory guides to many key safeguarding issues, ranging from tackling historic child abuse, to what to do if a sex offender joins your church, to domestic violence and staying safe on line. This was keynote research into child safeguarding policies and working practice within churches in England.
