CCPAS RESOURCES SAFEGUARDING IN THE DIGITAL WORLD
This resource is designed to support faith communities in safeguarding children in all aspects of e-safety (electronic communications) This resource is available in two different formats: DVD and USB and both contain the same information - the advantage of the USB being that it can be easily used in most portable devices. A copy of this comes free with both the DVD and USB format but is available to buy separately. TO ORDER (CCPAS) If your church takes safeguarding children and vulnerable adults seriously, how do you get this message across? This DVD is designed to inform members of your congregation and visitors about your procedures - you really can't afford to do without it. This resource consists of a 6-minute presentation aimed at church congregations and visitors. It outlines the measures taken by churches with a responsible attitude to child safeguarding. Also included on the DVD is a selection of printable posters that can be displayed where meetings and children's activities take place, to reassure parents that safeguarding is taken seriously. You can view the Kids Are Safe Here video by clicking here This disk is a fully searchable, printable and easy to navigate safeguarding manual on CD. It is updated annually and includes a model policy and many forms. If a member click here to access the fully searchable, online Safe & Secure manual which is up-dated throughout the year as and when guidance changes. The booklet is a summary of the CCPAS ten safeguarding standards. It acts as an introduction to good safeguarding practice and procedures for any organisation and covers topics such as the nature of abuse, signs and symptoms and how to respond to concerns or allegations. Contains the essentials on good working practice, responding to children where there are concerns/allegatons of abuse, important telephone numbers and contacts. Can be personalised with specific logos/details (bulk orders only). Also available for non-church organisations.
