Training - Special Children, Special Needs A distance learning course to equip churches respond appropriately to children with disabilities and special needs in practical and inclusive ways. Sessions include how to make church welcoming, advice on specific disabilities/special needs, briefing on the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and the filming of a church that has taken a 'hands-on' approach to tackling the issues. Contributors include CCPAS Social Work Manager, Simon Bass and 'Through the Roof' Director, Paul Dicken. Approximately five hours of DVD material. Unlimited follow up support is available from CCPAS by phone or email.A certificate is awarded to those who successfuly complete the course and written test.
